Liar Party Privacy Policy

Liar Party (Korean name 라이어 파티, "the app") lets a group play the liar game on a single phone. The app has no sign-up or login, keeps game information only on your device, and does not send it to the developer.

1. Information we collect

The app does not collect personal information. Player names (nicknames), chosen characters, scores and rankings, and the word sets and penalties you create are stored only on your device and are never sent to the developer or any other server. You may use nicknames instead of real names.

2. When you share

Information leaves your device only when you tap a share button yourself.

Result card and result text: an image or text containing player names, the secret word, the penalty, and today's ranking is created on your device and sent only to the app you choose (for example, a messenger).
Word set links: the set name and words are placed after the # in the link. Browsers do not send the part after # to servers, so it is not recorded on our server either. Anyone who receives the link can see its contents.

3. Storage on your device and deletion

The information in section 1 is kept in the app's storage on your device (browser storage on the web). You can delete players, word sets, and penalties in the app or reset the ranking with "New party". Deleting the app or clearing the site data in your browser removes everything. The developer cannot access this information and therefore cannot delete or restore it for you.

4. Ads, analytics, and third-party SDKs

The app has no advertising, usage analytics, location tracking, or third-party login. Fonts and character art are bundled in the app and are not downloaded from outside. The web version (liar-party.web.app) is delivered through Google Firebase Hosting, and the hosting provider may process connection information needed for delivery (such as IP addresses). The developer does not receive or keep this information.

5. Children

Because the app does not collect personal information, no separate consent process is required regardless of age.
